Thin and chocolaty with a cocoa flavor that approaches sour and earthy. Would be lots better with a creamy backing-- as is, it’s a hint too watery; the liquid component washes away quickly, causing the cocoa particulates to gather on the tongue as though you were panning for gold in a Sierra Nevada creek.
Sweet and approaching earthy, but pulls up in time to avoid ground contact. It’s well-balanced and unoffensive in every respect.
Foamy top but a pretty fair and true chocolate flavor throughout. The sweetness isn't overdone (thankfully, as it’s artificially sweetened) so no major red flags go up when you send this down your gullet.
Tasted bland upon first trial but I soon warmed up to the simplicity. It’s competent in all areas and nothing sticks out (for better or worse). Best boxed Slovak product I've had so far (which means it's better than the other one).
Beautiful coloration that is so brown that it’s almost red, and it looks and feels ‘milky’ (coincidence?). The cocoa flavor is slightly on the candy side of the continuum, perhaps amplified by the heavy-handed sweetness. All things considered, though, it’s average, yet memorable.
Beautiful to watch it cascade out of the bottle and into a glass-- but the aesthetics set a high bar that is hard to live up to. In short, it’s got punchy flavor but way too heavy on the sweetness end. The first sip is a nice surprise, but the 4th and 5th are a bit much.
Thin texture, but otherwise rather straight down the middle from a flavor perspective. Competent, non-offensive, a solid 5.
Chalky and less sweet, the cocoa flavor is not held back by the supporting cast. It’s got a powdery feel, but the chocolate taste is decently authentic and overall a competent drink.
Drinkable chocolate milk, especially due to the low viscosity. It’s averagely sweet, salty, and creamy, and nothing feels out of place— just may feel a touch watery to some.

Solidly average pretty much across the board. There's no deviation from expectations, everything feels in the right place. I'd enjoy it a bit more if it were less viscous, especially when siphoning it out of the box.
The package is modestly better than the sum if its parts— it fits together nicely and definitely shouldn't offend anyone.
Shockingly bitter upon first sip, but warms up quickly. I dig the uniqueness and the (way) under sweetened approach— it's memorable and reminds you that decent cocoa flavor doesn't require a ton of help.
Sweetish start, and relatively watery conclusion to each sip. It neither stands above nor dips below ‘average’ in any major way.
Definitely creamier than the low fat version, and more enjoyable for that reason— but it still suffers from way over-sweetness, as it causes the cocoa flavor (which is strong) to seem candyish and not authentic. Again, would be much better if diluted with plain, whole milk.
Thin, sweet, and not overly chocolaty. Not offensive, not memorable, mildly nostalgic (as I grew up in Maine swilling this stuff).
Sharpish taste to the first sip that I have a hard time describing, but it involves a saltiness— which is not a turnoff, just a surprise. In the end, it evokes a malty quality that outshines the cocoa aspect.
Straight down the middle— as average as it gets. Nothing stands out, but it’s easily recognizable as chocolate milk and is exactly what I think of when I picture ‘average.’
Much more banana than chocolate, and an interesting combination of textures— thick but very smooth. If you like bananas (or banana flavor), you will enjoy this, for chocolate lovers— look elsewhere. A competent drink though.
