Caramel is by far the most prominent flavor, which was a surprise, but not necessarily a bad one. Each subsequent sip got better and better— it’s got a great creaminess to it that is not overly thick or starchy feeling.

Satisfyingly creamy, malty, and chocolaty, and it does well to avoid over-sweetness. Much more enjoyable than the lowfat version.
Very creamy and pleasant, though not over-indulgent on the chocolate side of things. Not a bad way to spend a few hundred cals.
Lots of salt and malt— a combination that I really enjoy in a chocolate milk. It’s pretty heavy-handed here, but I welcome the uniqueness.
Strong cocoa flavor packed into a thinner-than-expected base that had only the slightest hint of wateriness, but you’d hardly notice if you were drinking this by itself (rather than side-by-side with 4 other similar products). Very well executed.
Sweet, chocolaty, a little powdery, and fun to drink. Very smooth and palatable chocolate flavor, a touch on the darker side but anyone who enjoys cocoa products would gladly sidle up to one of these.
Malty, salty, creamy— what else do you need? Oh— chocolate— it has that too, though not as blatantly as the dark version. Another example of a chocolate milk with downplayed sweetness that works to its advantage.
Korean product with a distinctive flavor that certainly stands out in China— it’s got a great salty base that carries the other flavors competently and the box is gone before you know it. Buy several.
While it's not difficult to stand out among the extremely bland Chinese chocolate milk field thus far, this stuff is quite flavorful. There are grainy particulates to be found, but don’t let this deter you from downing all 500mL.
Nice creamy flavor in a thin and smooth texture. It slightly coats the back of your throat and you will wish that it hung on for longer.
Scent and flavor uncannily reminiscent of Dairy Queen chocolate ice cream. Could use a stronger salt quotient, but still a pretty flavorful (and sentimental) experience.
Excellent combination of thin/smooth/creamy which is difficult to pull off. It is very sweet, and lacks a strong enough cocoa presence to compete with the sweetness.
Could use a bit more cocoa flavor but excellent balance and easy to enjoy. In a fridge full of chocolate milk, I found myself repeatedly reaching for this one until it was gone.
Nicely creamy, but little else in the flavor department that stands out. It doesn’t try to do too much, and has an enjoyable simplicity that makes drinking both pleasurable and effortless.
Mature, earthy cocoa flavor and more cream than sweetness. The texture is a bit thick, but it’s warranted by the creaminess.
Sweet and creamy, with a buttery quality that is unique and pleasant. Plenty of salt to balance things out.
Flavorful in a lot of the right ways— good representation of cocoa, malt, salt, cream, and sweetness— even a slight sour note that works well. Rather enjoyable to sip while contemplating whether the cattle rustling cow on the the label is a force for good, or a spiteful traitor to his own people.
Much stronger cocoa flavor and less sweet than Kemps Swiss Style 1%. Has a hot chocolate-esque taste and chalky finish, both of which are far from offensive in this case.
The combination of high cream, high salt, and low sweetness works for me in this particular makeup. It’s a lot more malty than chocolate, but in the right context, this is nice.
Excellent flavor, indulgent, creamy taste with plenty of sweet and salt to go along. To be sipped, not guzzled.
