I was expecting some sort of ‘crispy’ aggregate suspended in the milk, but instead I guess it’s an attempt to emulate a crunchy toffee bar(?). It does deliver sufficiently on that but it's a bit too sweet for me, and the toffee experience is not one that is enhanced through flavored milk, in my view. Still flavorful enough to be considered average despite the drawbacks.
Much more noticeable malt quotient than the rest of the Dairyland portfolio, and it’s more prominent than the chocolate for sure. Averagely sweet and creamy and a lot else is straight down the middle.
Great look and strong cocoa flavor that is clearly the focus. The texture kills it though, for me— it’s very thick and has a starchy quality to it (as opposed to a cream-induced thickness).
Pleasantly smooth, silky feel, and a medium-sweet, lightly malty flavor highlight the experience. It satisfies in a pinch, but the goal is not to find oneself in said pinch.
Pretty straight-down-the-middle in most respects— has a similar flavor to the private label, big gallon jug chocolate milks that we all grew up on.

A strange bird here, no pun intended. It’s quite thick and chocolaty, but with absent cream— feels a bit of a contradiction. The flavor is decent and relatively genuine feeling, but the over-thickness paired with missing creaminess drags it into unremarkable territory.
Nicely thin and smooth, strongish chocolate flavor but a fake-y twang to the finish.
Very unique and unexpected. A high-viscosity, low(ish)-sweetness drink with powerful cocoa flavor. A lot of people would enjoy this more than I, but ultimately my distaste for super-thick (especially when not paired with high cream) sludgy texture won out over my enjoyment of the strong chocolate flavor.
Quite a different experience— it’s salty first, earthy second, chocolaty third. The first sip might shock you, the second will be better— expect it to plateau after the 4th. It dries out your mouth, imploring you to drink more. Your tastebuds may begrudgingly acquiesce, depending on your salt threshold.
Enough creamy taste and chocolate flavor to manage an average score, more flavorful than the ingredient label might suggest. Would greatly benefit from a bit more salt, but not a bad find in China.
The cocoa flavor won’t beat you over the head, but this certainly stands above the other Taiwanese products thus far. Smooth, minimally viscous, and lightly sweet and creamy— it’s a pleasant experience with little distraction.

Salty, less sweet and as malty as chocolaty. It’s pleasant upon first sip, but has a lingering aftertaste that is strong and urges you to take another sip to get rid of it.
Relatively flat cocoa flavor that feels a bit inauthentic. Did not deliver the same creamy/chocolaty punch that the UHT version had.
