Very bland, and the primary flavor that comes through reminds me of licking the glue part of an envelope. Where's the chocolate that the packaging insinuates should be in there??

Bland and forgettable. There's a slight aftertaste that reminds me of a soy-like twang, but it goes away quickly. Low marks in all flavor categories, and the texture feels unnaturally thickened as well.
Better taste than what I had in Kunming a month prior (perhaps due to there being 1 more calorie on the label..), though far from what I would consider decent. There’s still a strange gimmicky taste to the sweetness that stays with you too long.
Flat chocolate taste with an aftertaste that borders on metallic. No hint of salt whatsoever, ultimately a very bland experience and blah texture.
Big chunks of gelatinous material suspended throughout this drink, which I think is milk-based (will have to wait for the translation). The chocolate flavor is there, and it’s plenty sweet, but it’s just weird having jelly-like chunks throughout.
Noticeably soy, but certainly better than some other chocolate soy milks I’ve had in the past. Metallic and only slightly twangy, the soy hits you abruptly in the aftertaste.
Unnatural thickness dominates the experience— there’s plenty of sweetness but very little else. Fairly hollow and unsatisfying.
Watery and has a fortified taste to it— sort of ‘tinny’ or mineraly. Feels unnatural when it hits the back of the throat. It’s a less-flavorful YooHoo, and probably belongs in metal and not glass.
Artificially/unnecessarily thickened and a lot less sweet than you would expect. For as (calorically) indulgent as this is, the flavor and experience is no where near where it should be. Have a below-average donut instead.
Powdery taste, and starchy, artificial feeling texture. Even the bubbles near the top of the cup look like they don’t want to be there.
Can’t deny the slight sour taste that immediately reminded me of pickles (which I don’t like) or even what a pickle burp would be like. Not particularly sweet or chocolaty— on its own, might be passable, but in a tasting flight, this does not fare well.
Different type of taste here— I immediately thought ‘Cocoa Puffs’ or the residual milk leftover after a chocolate cereal. Combined with the artificial-feeling thickness of it, this is not recommended.
Somewhat creamy but otherwise bland. Texture is smooth but there is no noticeable chocolate flavor to keep you interested. The predominant flavor is one of wheat, almost beerlike.
Texture is unnecessarily thick, and it is pretty much devoid of any type of flavor. Not recommended.
Very strange flavor, which to me is reminiscent of anise/licorice. Extremely thin and smooth, but the flavor is off-putting for one expecting chocolate milk.
Strong rum-like scent and flavor, highly chalky texture. There is a bit of cocoa flavor mixed in, but it’s unfortunately dominated by a rummy/boozy taste.
Very strange ribbon-candy like flavor upon initial swig. The cloying sweetness didn’t subside with subsequent tries. Texture feels artificially thickened and does not deliver a creamy taste. Grainy feel in the mouth when (thankfully) finished.
Slight mineral-y taste that overpowers the cocoa. It has a sweetness but not the most pleasant one. Aside from a cloying sweetness, there is not much else to note. Nice thin texture, but not worth more than a few sips.
