Not as wheaty as the non-bio version, which is a plus. The texture is slightly thicker but there is a noticeable creamy component and the cocoa flavor is more ‘real’ feeling, but still lacking.

Pleasant malty quality to the flavor, and the salt/sugar balance definitely favors the former. Cocoa flavor is hard to pick out among the malt and salt, but it's a nice departure from expectations.
Very ‘wheaty’ feel and taste to it, which is not a great companion to chocolate. The chocolate taste is artificial and a bit metallic. It's adequately thin and sweet, but that's about all. Tastes like it should be in a can, not a glass bottle.
Just bad. I know it’s 30% less sugar and lactose free, and for what it is, maybe that’s fine. But objectively, it tastes like wet cardboard.
Exceptionally chalky with a low amount of sweetness that actually works to its advantage. The cocoa flavor maybe a bit more acidic than I initially expected, but remained consistent throughout and by the end it was not an issue. My first thought was ‘tomato’ when I took a small sip— but that proved to be fleeting.
One of the best-looking products I’ve seen (a shame it’s inside a box!), but this lactose-free version has a hint of a ‘burnt coffee’ taste to me— just a tiny bit. Otherwise, it is well balanced across the board.
The cream and sweetness are cranked up pretty high but are let down by a weak cocoa presence. It's still quite enjoyable as it is, but you'll have to get your chocolate fix from somewhere else.
